FEATURED EDITORIAL //
Beyond thrilled to see this incredible styled collaboration featured on Polka Dot Bride. From the editors, When botanical beauties become living art. There is so much to love in this magic editorial shoot that focused flora as an artform.“
I am feeling very humbled by the support and love for this thing I do (some call it work, I call it passion) and all of the beautiful people I have the fortune of meeting, collaborating with and creating something beautiful for.
Hosted inside the beautiful Mt.Mee venue, Entangled – Living Art, this space is oozing creativity and inspiration in every corner. The palette of wheat toned walls and character of this once butter factory was in my mind as I design this cascading phalaenopsis orchid bouquet with ranunculus, roses and delicate air plants to form a lush and romantic palette in contrast to the industrial feel of the venue.
Floral designer Casey of Botanic and Bloom Floral Design
explains, “Stemming from my explorations as a sustainable floral artist and seeking a modern and interesting alternative to more traditional floral jewellery, I have been working on designing a collection of living botanical jewels, this shoot is the culmination of 12 months of creative design, testing, growing and sourcing just the right mix of succulents to bring my vision to life.” She adds “The beauty of botanical jewellery is not only in its sustainable origins but it is ever more intriguing than a standard ring or bracelet. Being fresh products, each leaf and plant is beautiful in its own unique shape and colour, creating a truly one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. I select and place each leaf and specimen like a living puzzle of miniature proportion.”
