WHAT IS ‘BOTANIC AND BLOOM ’?

We are a studio based online florist delivering fresh flowers and gifts throughout Brisbane’s CBD, South Brisbane Suburbs and Logan. We also do custom orders and (our favorite floral occasion) gorgeous WEDDINGS!

 

BRISBANE FLOWER DELIVERY // Delivery days are WEDNESDAY – SATURDAY

Orders must be placed before 10am for SAME day delivery. Urgent and after hours deliveries may be arranged by request. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

WHAT DAYS DO YOU DELIVER? //

We are currently delivering Wednesday-Saturdatay. Deliveries take place from Noon up to 5pm.

WHAT IS ‘AUTHORITY TO LEAVE’? //

When possible, it is best to ensure someone will be available to personally accept an order, if the recipient isn’t home or there is no mail room /reception area and the area is deemed safe by our delivery driver the order will be left in a safe, shaded place and the job deemed completed. If an area is not deemed safe to leave, the sender will be contacted to arrange another option, this is at the expense of the sender to do so. If we are not able to reach you on your provided contact number or email in a suitable time-frame for our drivers then the order will not be able to be re-delivered on the same day and a re-delivery fee may apply.

WHAT TIME SHOULD MY FLOWERS ARRIVE? //

Deliveries take place from noon up to 5pm. Please include information such as gate entry codes or division of workplace within delivery instructions as well as other pertinent information relevant to ensure your blooms are delivered successfully.

WHAT IF I NEED AN EARLY DELIVERY? //

To keep our small business running smoothly, deliveries begin from 12 noon each day. Please contact us if an AM delivery is essential and we will do our best to help you out with a VIP service (NOTE:  minimum lead time of 24hrs is required to accommodate urgent requests and additional delivery charges will apply for VIP deliveries.)

WHAT IF I PUT MY ORDER IN AFTER 10AM FOR SAME DAY DELIVERY? //

Unfortunately you have missed the cut off for that days schedule and we will deliver the next available delivery day after contacting you to make suitable arrangements.

DO YOU DELIVER ON WEEKENDS OR PUBLIC HOLIDAYS? //

We deliver Wednesday to Saturday at this point. We do not deliver on public holidays. We will however be open if it falls on Mothers Day or Valentines Day. Urgent deliveries can be arranged by special request. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. (NOTE:  Minimum lead time of 24hrs is required to accommodate urgent requests and additional delivery charges will apply for VIP deliveries, not all days are available for VIP service, Weddings and Other Peak service times will be considered priority.)

CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER? //

As a small studio collective of florists we are unable to accommodate requests for pickups. We source, make and deliver all of designs in house to ensure OUR hard work and YOUR beautiful blooms are simply breathtaking right up until the moment they are delivered. Whilst we do not operate a retail space, your flowers will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE to many SOUTH BRISBANE suburbs, BRISBANE CBD and LOGAN areas. If you would like the thrill of hand delivering your gift in person, we suggest having your order sent to yourself for personal delivery of your choosing.

WHAT IF SOMEONE ISN’T THERE TO ACCEPT THE FLOWERS? //

Please do your best to find out if the recipient will be home when delivery is due to take place. Please also provide mobile numbers for yourself and the recipient to aid us in ensuring a smooth and successful delivery. The flowers will be left in a safe and secure place if no one is home, HOWEVER we really do prefer to hand deliver. We can not take  responsibility if flowers are delivered to the specified address for delivery and remain uncollected by the recipient. A Re-delivery charge may incur if our drivers cannot access the property i.e a gated home or secured apartments with no foyer or guest entry.

So please do your best to provide correct and additional address information when placing an order, ie – ‘starts work at 2pm’ OR ‘beware of the dog!’

WHAT WILL MY FLOWERS LOOK LIKE? //

Images displayed are indicative only and are to be used only as a ‘GUIDE’. We endeavor to make all orders as similar as possible to the images represented HOWEVER, this is very dependent on seasonal availability and of course the ever unpredictable ‘Mother Nature’, particularity as we are working with fresh product – no guarantees of availability or color tone can be made. Our fresh seasonal blooms are picked just for you, each and every order is selected by hand using the best premium blooms on offer that day at market. No two days or two flowers are the same –  that is the beauty of nature!

Flowers depend on the market and season. Please trust us to select beautiful flowers to send on your behalf.

Mother Nature is beautiful and  flowers can alter and look different when tight and fresh as they do when they are in full bloom. We only make to order, so you can be guaranteed the highest quality of market fresh flowers delivered just hours after they were selected for you.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY FLOWERS? //

Once you have received your fresh flowers, if your blooms arrive wrapped, remove the paper before placing into a clean vessel of fresh water. If you have received a beautiful hat box of flowers, you needn’t remove the flowers as there is a vase already nestled securely inside your box simply lift the flowers gently to ensure the water level is sufficient for all your blooms to drink well.

Every 2-3 days simply trim the stems about 1-2cm, at a 45′ angle is best with sharp scissors or shears. At the same time refresh the water and clean the vase out. It’s a small step that makes all the difference, FRESH WATER = HAPPY FLOWERS!

{Be careful not to wet your hat box by gently removing the internal vase first}

Keep them cool. Be sure to display your flowers away from direct sunlight or in the path of heating or cooling systems. As your blooms mature, remove any spent blooms to reduce bacteria from contaminating or browning the water.

{All flowers, even that of the same variety will mature at their own pace . Enjoying this journey is a joy in itself!}

FREE!! All of our blooms are delivered at no additional cost across all suburbs as listed above. If your desired suburb isn’t listed please contact us for availability and quote.
